white-section class among others not included/working?

I would like to have my 'containers' look just like this, however when I do a div with a class of white-section like in the source for that page, it doesn't work. Can you tell me how to add this? Also the form field doesn't seem to be taking on the class attributes either.

Also as seen on the above page, for some reason colored background is not full screen, but that might be something else. Not sure if you see what the problem is there or not?

Ok I found some javascript at the bottom of the page missing and this seemed to affect the styling of the select box. However the white background is still not working. Can you please check to see if you can determine what is wrong? I searched all the .css files for the keyword 'white-section' and could not find it.

Nevermind I found the css inline in the page, doh!
