I understood that Canvas 6 was to be introduced in Dec 2019, but instead we got Canvas 5.9. When is Canvas 6 to be introduced? And what will be the changes from v5.9?
When will Canvas 6 be released?

Also. Where to find the documentation for v5.9?
Hello,
Thanks for your Patience and Apologies about the Delays in releasing Canvas 6.
Canvas 6 is a Huge Update and most of the Components are re-written for better flexibility and compatibility. Which is why there have been numerous delays and hiccups. Canvas 6 will be available early next week. Canvas 6 will be very different from Canvas 5.9.1 or below and you will need to make a lot of changes. Complete Details and Migration Guide will be provided in the Documentation. Canvas 5.9.1 was released with Plugin Updates so that everyone who does not want to Upgrade to Canvas 6 can still have the Latest Libraries.
The Documentation for the Canvas 5.9.1 can be found in the Package/Documentation Folder.
Hope this Helps!

OK. Thank you. I will wait for v6 to be released BEFORE I start developing my website. I hope it will have good documentation also. Basically I want the Default theme, with the One Page Submenu (in v5.9.1 terms). Will this be easy to install in v6? I haven't read the docs yet, but reading the 4.01 docs I couldn't figure out how to install this.
I don't see any Package or Documentation folder in my download of 5.9.1. I see a Demos folder, but no Package or Documentation folder
OK. I found the docs. Sorry about that. I tried to edit my last post but it said I don't have a license, so how is it I can download the package and can read the docs?
And.. login and leave messages.
OK. I'm still confused. As I've said, I want the default theme with the only one option from one-page option. I assume the default them is a one page template, and I can edit that to do what I need, so presumably I only need to upload these HTML/.. folders mentioned in the docs and I'll be good to go, to edit the default theme. Will the install be similar in v6?
OK. I still have a problem. If I only upload the html... folders, there is no system, like index.html. So I really have not understood these install instructions.
OK. I left out the style.css, so I have a "shell" website at least.
Hello,
Since Canvas is a Static HTML5/CSS3 Template, the Installation will always be same. You just need to edit the Files as-is, and then upload to your Web Servers using FTP as provided in the Package/HTML Folder.
If you are using the One Page Template, you will need to change the CSS/JS Linking in the One Page HTML File you are planning to use and remove the ../ Link prefix and change other Links to one-page/ to make sure that the File Linkings are pointing to the Correct File Locations. Also, make sure to upload the one-page Folder to your Web Server as well since it contains the CSS File for the One Page Styling. Please consider using this File we have created for you to be simply used in the Root Folders: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tq2oklcdzm531s3/one-page.html?dl=1 .
These are the following Folders/Files you will need for the One Page site:
css/ Folder
images/ Folder (However, you can delete the Images inside this Folder according to your Preference, but don't delete the images/icons/ Folder)
include/ Folder (However, you can delete the rs-plugin/ Folder)
js/ Folder
one-page/onepage.css File
style.css File
This will definitely work fine. Hope this Helps!

Your promise of early next week for the release of Canvas 6 is now a month old, and still no sign of the new version. The mantra is still early next week. But next week just comes and goes without any new release. Can't you do better with predicting when this will be released? I only bought 5.9 because I wanted 6 (which was coming next week), when I bought it. Maybe your mantra should be early next month :)
Hello,
Apologies about the Delays caused!
We don't plan our releases according to fixed Release Dates. We try to work extensively on the experience, make everything work smoother and in harmony. Canvas 6 is a Huge Release and is a rewrite of many components and features. We have worked very hard. Canvas 6 has been in works since Late September 2019. We are more eager to release Canvas 6 than you are waiting for it. Trust us. We are trying to listen to Our Users and trying to release something that is Future Proof and focusses on Speed and Functionality. We have been heavily testing Canvas and we are attaching a Screenshot of what we have achieved. A 900 Template Package is hard to Edit on-by-one and check everything accordingly. Thanks for Understanding.

Note: It is a Testing Environment with Google Suggested Suggestions and depends on User Case, Servers, Customizations and a lot of other factors. It is not a Guaranteed Feature and will require you to make some changes to the codes to achieve what we have achieved.
I purchased this Canvas 5 on the understanding that Canvas 6 was to be released next week. It's now 3 months later and Canvas 6 is still nowhere in sight. I'm a patient man. But this wait is still really too long. I am unable to use Canvas 5 because so much is going to change in v6, and I don't want to develop my website twice. Once for 5.9 and again for 6.0. But I purchased extended support. Never imagining that 6.0 would not be delivered in 3 months and still waiting. So I would ask that you extend my support to cover the same period of time from when 6.0 is released.

Hello,
We Really Apologies about the Delays and the Inconveniences caused!
Unfortunately, Support Licenses cannot be extended or modified based on the fact that there was a delay in releasing an Update. As we have already mentioned multiple times earlier that we will never release a half baked version of Canvas which would in turn cause bugs and issues for you considering we have really tried to be ambitious with Canvas 6. As you mentioned, that you are waiting for the Latest Version and only want to use Canvas 6 and not Canvas 5.x for your Website, we think it would have been best if you could have waited for Canvas 6 to be released first and then Purchased a License like many other Users are planning to do so based on Canvas 6 release as this would have not impacted your Support License and we are continuously providing quick support regularly. While we strongly regret that the delays we have to go through, we unfortunately cannot extend support licenses for users who had purchased licenses for older versions of Canvas.
Thanks for your Valuable Understanding.
