Why is it taking so long, that the Video starts? (About 3-5 sec) It "feels" totally wrong.
And also is it possible to add just a "start" and "pause" button?

Hello,
This again is not controlled by the Codes in the Canvas Template and is directly controlled from Vimeo. Since you are using the Revolution Slider for this, Play/Pause Buttons are currently not supported. You will need to use a Custom Solution for this.
