Video Modal not Working

Question

Hiya,

Ive used the vertical modal popup button on my site and have inserted a youtube video into it. Ideally I would like the youtube video to play automatically when the user clicks the button and opens the modal, however I think that might be a youtube limitation.

Anyway, is there a way to stop the video when I click the close button? I can still hear the video playing after closing the video…

Or is there a better element to use to display a video inside a closable modal?

Thanks for your Patience and Apologies for the Delays in replying.

Inline Modals currently cannot not control Video Play/Pause behavior. This is only possible with iFrame Modals at the moment as with Inline Modals, additional JS Code customizations will be required. Consider checking the Video Lightbox behaviors here: https://canvastemplate.com/lightbox.html .
