v7 Contact and form.php

Question

For v7 Contact and form.php, upon successful mail submission I am not getting the following notice like v6, even though contact form is working and I have verified receiving emails.

"We have successfully received your Message and will get Back to you as soon as possible."

I have verified using data-alert-type="inline" and that works, but I prefer the box in the upper right like v6. Is that still an option?

Also, contact form's new pulsing icon when in process of submission looks slick on not-dark, but dark may need review as I think the background it overlays is not as intended.

I have done some more testing and it appears that the .dark class applied to a contact page causes the 2 issues, 1) missing message in upper right, and 2) odd color overlay in way of form. Example using contact-recaptcha-v3.html and only adding .dark to body and changing YOUR-SITE-KEY:
