URLs with Element IDs/ Cause Page Layout to Break

Hello,

We make use of element IDs in URLs in order to direct visitors to specific sections of pages. E.g. https://oursite.com/sales#pricing

Somehow this occasionally breaks the page layout. We are using the site navigation menu from index-corporate-3.html, dark with custom colors. When a # element reference is in the URL our custom colors are no longer applied, the menu sometimes appears and sometimes does not appear, sometimes the page body is shifted up by 30 pixels causing the top of the page to be cut off and a gap at the bottom while other times the footer is fixed. Unfortunately this is not consistent. Most of the time the page renders fine, sometimes not.

Hello,

The issues you are facing are not related to the Hash Locations in your URL but with the Codes on your Page. Consider Validating your codes first on: https://validator.w3.org/ to check if there are any HTML Validation Errors on your Page. Then, please provide us with a Live URL so that we can check out the exact issue and provide you with more assistance on this. Thanks for your Patience.

Meanwhile, do let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues with Canvas.
