Updating to Canvas 5.9 creates slider / pagemenu issues

The current live website is https://liquid-ibc.com.
I'm not sure what version this was built with, but I think 4.2 or 4.3.

In an effort to move the client onto Bootstrap 4 but minimize my re-coding efforts, I chose to move them to 5.9.
I'm moving them onto a new CMS platform and I'm using Sass to generate the CSS.

My biggest problem is that functions.js is not initiating the #slider.
I don't know if it's related, but the pagemenu does not operate properly.
It seems that ".sticky-page-menu" gets attached via JS but doesn't ever get removed.

Oddly, refreshing the page after it's loaded often causes the last slide to appear.
(Sometimes the swiper function works too)
This, however, also causes the pagemenu to get incorrectly glued to the top of the window.(see image) ??
Any insights or remedies are welcome...

Thanks,
-- Bruce

Hello,

We have checked out your Website and the issues are largely due to Incorrect Customizations:

  1. There are several JS Plugins that are getting loaded multiple times.

  2. The order of the CSS is different. This could cause issues on Canvas v5.9 or below.

  3. The js/functions.js is loaded using Async which is not supported on Canvas v5.9 or below.

We Apologize for the Inconveniences, however, we currently do not provide Customization-related Support according to the Item Support Policy: https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy .

We highly recommend you to update to the Latest Version of Canvas as Support is only limited to Included Features but not Bug Fixes and Functionality Enhancements in the Older Versions.

Let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues.

Actually, the answer was/should have been...
"You should be using version 3 of jQuery."
All fixed.

Hello,

Apologies for the Inconvenience!

Unfortunately, it is very hard to track the codes and updated plugins after it has passed 3 years of development. However, we do have the Changelogs listed for all the Versions of Canvas here: http://docs.semicolonweb.com/docs-group/changelog/ .

Please do let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues with Canvas.
