Hi

I have a problem with jquery $ not being recognised. I had it before and it went away after a little trial and error moving scripts to the header / footer / other places etc.

Please take a loot at this page which creates 3 JS errors in the console - the script that I am using to trigger the problem is irrelevant - it's just there to demonstrate the problem. The priority is to figure out why the TypeError: $ occurs.

Perhaps the errors are related?

Thanks

Hello,

When the Revolution Slider is used on a Page you will need to change $ to jQuery in all your JS Codes to make it work fine. Meanwhile, we would also suggest you to use jQuery instead of $ in order to prevent any future issues with JS when adding any External Plugins.

This will definitely work fine. Hope this Helps!

Hello,

We understand but unfortunately, this is something that is cause by the Revolution Slider Plugin. However, to avoid unexpected errors it is recommended to use jQuery in the JS Codes as this will never throw an error.

Hope this Helps!
