Two bugs/differences in Canvas 7 that might be worth changing

Hello SemiColonWeb team,
I appreciate your great work on version 7 of the Canvas template. Good job! I'm currently rebuilding a project under development for the new framework. Just finding out a few differences and/or possible bugs I would like to communicate:

  • There seems to be an alignment problem with the sub-menu-indicator `` in the sub-sub-menu in this building block: https://canvastemplate.com/block-navigation-header-menu-inline.html (see attached image)

  • I miss the smooth transitions in the mobile menu in Canvas 6.x; in 7 mobile menus open without transition. Any chance for these to come back in v7?

Thanks!

Just adding screen recordings to illustrate what I mean with smooth transitions. Also noticed that in v7 the chevron for scrolling down is disabled in mobile view, not sure if this is intended or not though ...

Hello,

Thanks so much for your Valuable Suggestions!

  1. Apologies for the Inconveniences regarding this issue. We have attached the fix to this issue in this reply. Please use this updated file.

  2. We understand. However, since we have moved to Vanilla JS in Canvas 7, these changes were necessary. But we will try including an option to enable the Smooth Transitions and release an Update very soon. Thanks for your Patience.

Meanwhile, do let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues with Canvas.
