Twitter widget not working by default. It gives a cross-origin request error when loading it up as a file. Loading it up on a local web server produces no error messages, but twitter feed doesn't come up. Tested with fresh install of Canvas.

Hello,

AJAX Functionalities never work with the Local File System, so you will need to use XAMPP or Online Servers to check this. However, since it is still not working for you on the Local Web Servers, please open the include/twitter/tweets.php?username=YOURUSERNAME on the Browser to check the error message.

Additionally, please make sure you have already added the Twitter API Keys as explained in the Documentation > Widgets > Twitter Section.

Hope this Helps!

I did those steps, added keys, and the widget still comes up blank. When I visit the include/twitter.... link you gave me, it just downloads the tweets.php file. I even modified permissions to the cache folder. Still coming up blank.
