Transparent Headers

Hello
im little confused about transparent headers with class dark..
I like to have transparent headers (in dark mode für white font color) and in sticky mode go to light version.
I do following:

<header id="header" class="transparent-header dark" data-sticky-class="not-dark">

First show on page load was correct, after scrolling the sticky mode are correct as well. But if you scroll back to top, the header will not go back to the transparent dark mode. The class dark is removed from the header classes. Whre can i fix this small problem, i don't found the removing code in the functions.js
