Theme Issues

I am using https://canvastemplate.com/op-big-text.html as base for creating my website. There are a few issues I found so far.

  1. On desktop and mobile both, there is empty (grey) area visible above/below cover video. Attached screenshot. I am using video of same size that was in demo and haven't made any CSS/JS changes other than some basic color changes.

  2. The menu becomes invisible after I click on menu (on desktop). Both close button and menu items are invisible. Same issue exists in demo theme as well. For this I create another issue.

  3. In the team section of the website (link provided), I want the popup to open when a click is made anywhere on image instead of clicking icon and want to remove the plus icon itself. I tried using "stretched_link" class on link inside "bg-overlay-content" but it didn't work.

Your immediate help on these would be highly appreciated.

Regards,
Shishir

Hello,

  1. We can assure you that the Source Video has this Gray Bar by default. We do not modify the Video in any way and merely fit the Videos in the Container by resizing it. Please consider reviewing the Videos used in the Live Previews: https://canvastemplate.com/images/videos/deskwork.webm and https://canvastemplate.com/one-page/images/videos/1.webm . You will notice that the Aspect Ratio of the Video is different for your Video: https://titaapps.com/mn/videos/home_720p.webm which is the likely cause why you can see Gray Bars on the Top/Bottom.

  2. This will be resolved in an Update to be available shortly within a few hours. Meanwhile, you can consider using this CSS Code:
    [ch_pre type="css"].is-expanded-menu.overlay-menu .primary-menu {
    background: rgba(var(--cnvs-invert-contrast-rgb), 0.95);
    }[/ch_pre]

  3. Please consider using this code instead:
    [ch_pre]

    Open Team 1 Modal
    [/ch_pre]

This will definitely work fine. Hope this Helps!

That's wonderful, that fixed issues 2 and 3. Need to check aspect ratio of video but what should be the correct aspect ratio for this to work?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hello,

Very Happy to Help! :)

Normally, Video aspect ratios should be 16:9. You can consider using this: https://www.adobe.com/express/feature/video/crop .

Hope this Helps!
