HI,

i have a testimonial slider setup using arrows - it looks fine on desktop but because some of the testimonial content is longer than others, the arrows are way down at the bottom of some testimonials. ideally, i'd like the outside grayish container to respond to the height of the testimonial but can't figure out how to do it.

here's a link: http://petocklaw.com/index2.html

(it's down at the bottom)

DO you have any ideas as to how i can accomplish that?

thanks!

Hello,

We have tried testing out the URL you have provided but it does not have the Testimonials Slider on the Page. Can you please provide us with a Valid Live URL so that we can check this out for you and provide you with a proper solution for this. Thanks for your Patience.

Meanwhile, do let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues with Canvas.

Hello,

We have just checked out your Website and the immediate issue we experience is the URL for the Google Fonts which does not have a https:// and since your Website is in https://, you will need to add the https:// to all the External URLs you use on your Page. Please fix this and this might fix this issue. Please get back to use once you complete this and if the issue persists so that we can look further into this. Thanks for your Patience.

Hi-

thanks for letting me know - i did change those urls to https.
one thing i also noticed in the code is:
<!--[if lt IE 9]>
<script src="http://css3-mediaqueries-js.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/css3-mediaqueries.js"></script>
<![endif]-->
when i check that url it pulls a 404 error...

regarding the testimonial slider: it still is not responding properly. In the example you have on your templates, it only had 1 sentence for each testimonial - so they are all the same height.

for a mobile view, i want the graying box to respond with the testimonial height - so the shorter ones don't have a huge amount of empty space at the bottom with the arrows.

Hello,

  1. We have removed the CSS3 Media Queries JS Link in the Latest Update.

  2. We have noticed that you are using a Customized Version of the js/plugins.js File. Can you please use the Default Version from the Package to check if it works fine. Additionally, the Testimonials Slider's Auto Height Functionality is already enabled but the above issue might be preventing this. Please use the Default File and let us know if you are still facing issues and we will surely look into this for you. Thanks for your Patience.

Hi,

i added the default plugins.js and it is still not responding.

I tried to customize the plugins.js file by removing many of the plugins my site was not using. I want to make the site as fast loading as possible - and would love to be able to minify and customize what plugins my site is using.

ALSO: i just saw that you have a javascript customizer - so i used that - BUT i notice that when i go to the page and reload, the testimonial section takes a huge amount of time to load!
And... it's still not responsive.

i don't remember that happening before?

Hello,

We have been trying to find the Issues on your Page for a Long Time but it is really hard to track the changes since you have a Lot of Customization on your Page and also the Flex Slider default functionality is not working properly since the data-arrows Attribute in the Testimonials section is set to false but it is still displaying the Arrows. So we are a little bit out of scope here. We really apologize for all these delays but we assure we are still looking for any issues available on your Website to fix the Testimonials Section.

Can you please remove the Flex Slider JS and CSS entirely and provide us with the Live URL so that we can determine the Issue more reliably. Thank You so much for all your Patience.

Hi - thanks for your continued assistance.... i do appreciate it!

on that page, i have the arrows set as true:
<div class="fslider testimonial" data-slideshow="false" data-pagi="false" data-animation="fade" data-arrows="true" style="height: auto;">

i am wondering if you are seeing a cached version, because i did change the arrows a while ago to true.

i just made a test page - so you can look at that instead (it may help the caching issue): https://petocklaw.com/twindex.html
i commented out my custom css, the swiper css, and the responsive css.... did you want the style.css removed as well?

the arrows are there - i had just taken off the background color so if you hover over them, you will see the gray box.

i don't have just the flex slider as a separate js file.... so where do i find that so i can remove it for you?

I ended up using a different testimonial slider which does work on mobile....
