Slow load times using one page template

Hi there,

I have used the man index.html file in the 'one-page' folder to build my single page website. I'm using most of the standard elements on this page but no additional ones (actually I have removed a few things like the client logo carousel & blog). You can see my test site here: https://augusta-rise.herokuapp.com/

I'm currently getting fairly slow load times and poor overall Google page-speed optimisation scores. I notice there is a lot of unused CSS and JS that is referenced in the HTML.

Can you recommend any files that I could safely remove to decrease the overall file size http requests etc? I understand all the CSS & JS files need to be there to allow for other features but I just want to remove anything not necessary for this single page site.

Thanks in advance.

Todd

Hello,

We have just checked out your Website and the slow speed is because of gZip Compression disabled on your Servers and Unoptimized Images. Please consider following the Optimization Tips provided in the Documentation > Start > Optimization Tips Section which will greatly help in speeding up your website.

Hope this Helps!
