Is there a way to simply change these clouds to an icon? Like an airplane for example.

Unfortunately not! This is a Custom Background Image created by our designers for this Niche Demo. You will need to make your own Customizations or create a New Image using Photoshop/Illustrator in order to achieve this effect.
