Hi, I have two issue's with my website and no doubt they are due to something I have done to your wonderful template. First the Slider Caption is not sliding and second if you use the quick contact form in the footer it does not display any error messages (but it does highlight the incorrect field) but when completed correctly the form goes to a page called undefined which then shows the 404 error page instead of the confirmation box stating the message has been sent. The message is sent and the email turns up.

Site is hadf.com.au. Thanks so much for all your help.

Hello,

  1. We have checked out your Website and there is only one Slide on the Slider which is why the Slider Caption is not sliding. Once you add a Second Slide to the Slider, it will start working fine for you.

  2. Please find the following code in the js/functions.js File:

if( data.alert != 'error' && elementRedirect != '' )

and replace it with:

if( data.alert != 'error' && elementRedirect )

This will definitely fix your issue with the Quick Contact Form. Let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues.

Hi, thank you the contact form is working perfectly. Couple of things:

  1. If you look at this page: http://hadf.com.au/index3.html it only has one slider and the slider caption works! Not sure why and would appreciate it if you had a look for me.
  2. The index page when loading keeps connecting to google analytics and in.getclikcy.com. As per my previous request (http://support.semicolonweb.com/forums/topic/getclicky-and-google-analytics/) the page is not using reCaptcha plugin so how do I stop this.

Thanks again for all your assistance I really appreciate it.

Hello,

  1. We have checked out both the URLs again and the Animation is working on both the URLs. The actual issue appears to be with the Load Time of the Index Page as it is higher and by then the Animation already completes which is why you cannot see it.

  2. We have investigated this further and found out that there are iFrame embeds on your Page which Load external URLs and they are requesting the Google Analytics and the getClicky HTTPs.

Hope this Helps! Let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues.

Sorry coming back for a follow up. Above you state: We have checked out both the URLs again and the Animation is working on both the URLs. The actual issue appears to be with the Load Time of the Index Page as it is higher and by then the Animation already completes which is why you cannot see it.

Can you advise how I can slow down the Load Time so the animate shows? Thanks again.

Hello,

We have checked out your Website and your Website does not seem to be optimized: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fhadf.com.au%2F&tab=desktop and it is related to your Web Server settings and Image Optimization. Please consider applying the suggestions, suggested in the Documentation > Start > Optimization Tips Section which will surely help in speeding up your website.

This will definitely work fine. Let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues.

Thanks for that, did the optimization and it is a lot quicker, however I still can't get the text slider to work whether on the live site or on my computer. Will start again but really appreciate all your help.
