Hi,

I used your Canvas template to create this website.

But strange issues happened after the Mac OS upgraded to Big Sur, many elements on the pages are no longer working properly. And this only happened to Chrome, but not to Safari.

The issues are:

1 / The video on the top of the page, can not display the full height of the page.
2 / The animated alphabetical letters are stopped running at the bottom of the page.

On the homepage:

1/ The top banner is not rotated anymore.

Again, these issues only seem on Chrome but not on Safari.

Do you have any ideas that cause this to happen?

Hello,

We have checked out your Website and you are using an Old Version of Canvas which has Old 3rd Party Plugin Codes that could cause conflicts with New OS Updates. Make sure that you are using the Latest Version of Canvas with the Updated Codes to ensure maximum compatibility. This is why we always keep Canvas updated with the Latest Plugins and Codes. So simply update to the Latest Version and this will definitely fix your issue.

If you are not ready to update to the Latest Version, consider updating the Youtube BG Player Plugin to the Latest Version in the js/plugins.js File.

Also, we noticed that jQuery is being loaded twice on the Page. Please make sure that you are only using One Instance of jQuery as this might lead to unexpected issues.

Yes, the site was done 16 months ago and using the latest codes at the time when we developed it.

Can you show me the way to update the code without writing the entire site?

Hello,

You will need to manually Upgrade the Files according to the File/Code Changes mentioned in the Changelog: http://docs.semicolonweb.com/docs/changelog/ . If you are upgrading from Canvas v5.x, please check the migration guide: http://docs.semicolonweb.com/docs/upgrading-v5-to-v6/migration/ . Since Canvas 6 is a Major Update, there are many Breaking Changes. If you are not ready to update to the Latest Version, consider updating the Youtube BG Player Plugin to the Latest Version in the js/plugins.js File.

How to find out what version of Canvas that I am using for the site?
