Hi there. Here's another issue I wish I could resolve myself using the documentation. I'm sure it easily marks me out as a newbie, but I am studying hard.

At the moment, I'm copying the code for my menu and footer into the different pages. I'm sure there must be a simple way of having a master copy that is referred to on subsequent pages, but I can't find how to do this.

I just know you're going to have a wonderfully simple answer to this!

Thank you in advance..

Hello,

Thanks for your Patience!

Unfortunately, there is not really supported with HTML Templates as since they are all individual files, you will need to manually copy/paste the HTML Codes for the Headers/Footers to all the Templates.

However, this is Definitely Possible by having a Centralized File for the Menu and this can be achieved easily using PHP. Please use the following steps:

  1. Firstly, you will need to change the .html Extension of your files to .php .

  2. Secondly, create a File named menu.php and add the Menu Code to it.

  3. Then, include this file in the Primary Menu Area. Example:

Also, make sure that you change the Menu Links extension from .html to .php .

Hope this Helps!

Thank you. This seems like an elegant and easy solution. However, the site I'll be hosting on (DashNex Pages) won't allow .php files. Do you have a similar solution using Java Script please?

Very grateful as ever.

Hello,

Unfortunately, this is currently not supported with JS Codes, as the Menus run on Javascript and there will be conflicts. Thus this needs more Customization which we currently do not provide according to the Item Support Policy: https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy .

Thanks for Understanding.
