Hello!

I'm trying to build a website to promote a startup. Part of the website will need to include buying products option, that is view different products and add to cart. I understand that Canvas is an HTML/CSS/JS template and mainly provides layout, design and animation features and the template doesn't provide a functional cart feature. How could I implement a functional shopping cart? I am aware that you don't support eCommerce integration like shopify.

Thanks for your Message. As you already know that since Canvas is a HTML5/CSS3 Template, the eCommerce Functionality will have to be implemented completely manually. And our recommendation would be to integrate it to WooCommerce as it is very comprehensive according to your needs and is free to use (except for integrating it yourself).

Can the Canvas template be used/implemented on WooCommerce?

Hello,

Absolutely. Since Canvas is a Static HTML5/CSS3 Template, you can integrate Canvas manually to WooCommerce but only for Personal Use. But you will need to be well-versed with PHP/WordPress in order to do so.

What exactly do you mean by personal use? I can't use the template on a website that I will use to sell products like a electric parts for instance?

Hello,

Absolutely! You can surely sell your own Products and everything else you like. But you cannot resell the modified Canvas Template itself as your own Theme. But you can use the Modified Version of Canvas for your own Personal use for selling your own Products. Hope we could explain well. :)

I have no intention to sell any canvas template at all, but simply to use the template to build a nice website to sell products.
