Search box with popup menu for the selection, is that possible?

Firstly thanks for your excellent work and support.

component-select-picker.html and component-select-box.html are excellent. However, in order to go one step further?

Is possible to do something such as in http://bodas.net/ http://www.zankyou.es/bodas

You will see that the search box will display a poppup when is clicked... and later when the user click in the selection it will populate the content of the search box. The dropdown menus are always quite complex for the users, specially on mobile. That is why I really like the option of displaying the choices and when clicking adding to the selection.

In the majority of the websites the search box is a key element! I think it would be a great enhancement for your future releases. Do you have any ongoing activity in that regard?

Regarding your Query, we definitely understand your concerns regarding this and we should definitely consider adding an Update with this functionality. Currently we are in the process of overhauling the Forms Functionality in Canvas so that Custom Workable Forms can be added on any Page easily. So we will definitely work on this too before releasing an Update. Hopefully, we will try releasing this feature by the end of May. Thanks for your Patience.

Thanks for the fast reply and for always embracing feedback in a constructive way. I look forward to seeing the Custom Workable Forms in action, it sounds quite promising! do not forget to include the automatic form validation for the compulsory fields (then user will not be able to click and go forwards unless he has filled in all compulsory items).

Any news about when this item will be released? Or maybe I have missed and it was released already.The search functionality is essential for most of the site and very important for the user experience. It would be a great contribution to add something more modern and user friendly that the standard drop down select list.

It could be an addition to the examples provided in component-select-picker.html a dropdown list but in which instead of offering the standard dropdown large list a popup appears to let the user make the selection. In case you do not have that as part of your roadmap, where should I investigate to develop myself such a feature? Thanks
