Question

Hi there,

I would like to use the search in the middle of the page like Google, but the search is controlled by JavaScript, so that I cannot generate new view. Could you tell me how I can place a search bar in the middle of the page or how can i generate a search-page,that has a search bar in the middle of the page? Your search bar above is a very good example for what I am looking for!

We do have a Search Design that opens in the Middle of the Page: http://themes.semicolonweb.com/html/canvas/search-overlay.html . Please let us know if this works for you.

Meanwhile, you can use a Custom Input Element to create a Custom Search Form and then place it in the Middle of the Page using the Flex Utility Classes: https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.5/utilities/flex/ .

Hey,
thank you for your quick response. I forgot to mention that I tried to use search-overlay.html, that one you mention in your response mail.
I want to use it as a stand alone page. In the current version I have to click into the search bar on top of the page and JavaScript generates the full screen search page with the search bar in the middle. How can I use it as a stand alone html page?

Unfortunately, this Template currently does not exist and you will need to Customize this further by copying the exiting Top Search Form CSS Codes and then add the HTML to a DIV with 100% Height using the Utility Classes: http://docs.semicolonweb.com/docs/utility-classes/heights/ . Example:
