Revolution Slider: Chrome Autoplay update and muted video

Question

Hi Canvas!

Google Chrome has blocked unmuted videos from playing automatically (good)! However, I have a background video playing using Revolution Slider (RS). It contains NO audio and the RS has the layer attribute of data-volume="muted". When the user navigates to the page with the video for the first time, the video is paused with the message in the console:

"revolution.extension.video.min.js:8 Unmuting failed and the element was paused instead because the user didn't interact with the document before. https://goo.gl/xX8pDD"

Do you have an idea as to why this is occurring? Is there a fix to allow the video to play, as it contains no audio?

Thanks for reporting this. We will update the Revolution Slider to the Latest Version shortly and lets see if it fixes the issue with the Video. We will send you the Update within Wednesday. Thanks for your Patience.
