Responsive Issue on Revolution Slider Images and Portfolio Overlay Captions

I have two issues.

1. I am having trouble getting my background images in Revolution Slider to keep the correct ratio when viewing on mobile phone. I have tried everything I know how to do to get the height to adjust and not have the image cut off like it is now. I am working with the html, style.css, etc. not a dashboard application. I have version 5.1.4 that came with the Canvas Template I purchased.

2. I have bg-overlay description on portfolio (masonry-thumbs) items and I can't get the text to scale properly when viewing on mobile phone.
