Regular Lists Not Lined Up Properly

Hello,

I have many unordered lists (ul) within a site I am converting and am finding that they are not lining up properly. They simply do not have the padding I expect

attachment

They are being pulled left, outside of the container. And lists within lists are even worse.

You can also see this if you visit my temp blog post: https://www.exploringallaire.com/exploring/nj-state-parks-and-many-county-parks-reopen-may-2020/

You can see the list below "A few things to note" is pulled left, outside the container. And the list contains sub-lists and are all aligned far left.

You can also see the situation if you were to view your own Jobs page (http://themes.semicolonweb.com/html/canvas/jobs.html) and remove the iconlist class from the list. The list disc icons are displayed, but they are pulled way left.

I know you have a special icon list. But I just want to be able to include a good old list with "normal" left margins without special classes and custom icons. Event bootstrap itself displays lists properly: https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.0/content/reboot/#lists

Is there an easy way to fix this? Do you already have a utility class to do this? I will add my own if you do not.

Thank you.

Hello,

Apologize about the Inconveniences regarding this!

This is definitely a Bug! We are working on fixing this, however, meanwhile please consider using the following CSS Code:

#content ul {
	margin-left: 1.5rem;
}

We are working on improving this in the Next Update. Thanks for your Valuable Patience.

Meanwhile, do let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues with Canvas.

Hello,

I have not pulled an update for a few versions now and was wondering if this has ever been fixed.

Thanks again.

Hello,

Unfortunately, this has not yet been included by default due to some design constraints and conflicts. We are working on integrating seamlessly with Canvas 7 so that this can work correctly without any Custom Codes. We will send you a Notification once this is available.

Hope this Helps!

Let us know if we can help you with anything else.

Thank you for the reply. One of my sites did not include id="content". Once I added this, things like Line-height and other design changes came about which I did not want. So I will be looking forward to Canvas 7.

Thanks again for all your hard work. Loving this theme.

Hello,

Very Happy to Help and Thanks for the Kind Words!

We understand and we will include these formatting improvements in Canvas 7. This is still in the early development so the release will be in 2-3 months. Thanks for your Patience.
