Hello,

1st of all I'm seeing a lot of references to a /include/sendmail.php file which I don´t have in my files. I do have a form.php file where there's a place to put the secret key. I also put the site key in the file but no luck. I'm not getting the recaptcha to work.

Where's that sendmail.php file? and what am I missing here?

PS
I downloaded again all the files to search for that sendmail.php file, but its not in there as well.

Which recapcha version should I use? V2 or V3? (I'm using V2 right now)

Thank you!

Hello,

We have just checked out all the Package Files and none of them have references to the include/sendemail.php File. The include/sendemail.php File was used in the Older Versions of Canvas and the Latest Versions use the include/form.php File. Please make sure that you have downloaded the Latest Version of the Package and have the Latest Files updated including HTML/CSS/JS/PHP Files. For complete instructions on how to use the New Forms Processor, please check the Documentation > Forms Section.

You can use the reCaptcha v2 that comes with the include/form.php File and it should definitely work fine. Make sure that you have checked all the Documentation related to this.

Hope this Helps!

Hello,

This issue is not related to the Canvas Template. It appears that you do not have the Valid Site/Secret Keys for the reCaptcha. Please make sure that you have generated your own Valid Keys which is allowed to be used on your Website and this should automatically fix the issue for you.

Hope this Helps!

I already regenerated the keys. What else could be wrong?

Should I use V2 or V3?

Hello,

Well, the error message generated on the reCaptcha Widget is not by the Template but by the reCaptcha Servers: ERROR for site owner: Invalid key type, which means that you are probably using reCaptcha v3 keys in place of the reCaptcha v2. Make sure that you are using proper version of the reCaptcha keys and this should fix the issues automatically.

Hope this Helps!
