Primary Menu to collapse once mouse moves out and/or clicks

Hi,

I'm trying to get my primary menu to collapse once the mouse moves out and/or clicks. Reason being, I've duplicated the mobile menu to create a 'mobile-looking-stlye' of menu for usage on desktop screens which unfortunately came with the same functionality. How do I place or modify the existing script to achieve that?
