Portrait-shaped Sliders for Mobile

I am using the canvas slider. All my images are landscape 2000px wide by 1000px tall. They looks great on a desktop. On mobile they look kind small with landscape dimensions. I would like to build a separate set of canvas sliders for mobile only, where the images are portrait-shaped. Perhaps 800px wide by 1000px tall. If need be, I can create a whole new set of portrait-shaped images just for a mobile-specific canvas slider.

1. I need to know how to make a canvas slider visible for mobile-only

2. I need to know how to change the dimensions of a canvas slider to be portrait shaped so it looks better on mobile

I would like a horizontally-cropped (with 100% height) version of the volleyball player to appear on mobile, so it creates a portrait version of the original image

Problem solved! I added the .force-full-screen class to <section id="slider"> and it did exactly what I was looking for.
