When I click on a portfolio item on this page https://www.viceverda.be/groendak-aanleggen-portfolio.html , scroll through that specific portfolio item page and want to return to the main portfolio page https://www.viceverda.be/groendak-aanleggen-portfolio.html (via the back button in the browser), I'm dropped back to the very top of the main portfolio page. And not to the place I was before I clicked on the portfolio item as the first step. So again I have to scroll down to the place on the page I was before. Really frustrating for visitors. Is there a solution that can help?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,

We understand but this is not an issue related to Canvas. To fix this and restore the browser scroll position will require a lot of Customized Codes which needs to be implemented only specifically for users requiring this functionality. This functionality is more readily available of the box when using Dynamic DOMs. We aim to currently keep the experience as RAW as possible with Canvas, without customizing the DOM behavior.

If you are interested, we can implement a Custom Solution for you on your Website as currently we do not plan to implement this feature with Canvas.

Thanks for Understanding.

Let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues.

Hello,

So you understand what my customer wants? Can you give me an estimation of the cost to implement this?
I have a duplicate website (same customer) with the same problem. https://plantdesign.be/groengevels-portfolio.html

Hello,

Thanks for your Interest! :)

To implement this for just the Portfolio Scroll state, this would be $69. But if you would like this to be implemented site-wide, for the all the links and their respective scroll states, this would $129.

Let us know which option you would be interested in.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Hello,

Still one question. Do you need only to adapt one or more javascript files or do you need to change all the html files of the project?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

There will no need for any Changes to the JS or HTML Files. We will provide you with an Individual JS Files which will handle this functionality that you will just need to link in the HTML at the bottom of the Page after the js/functions.js File. That's it.

Hope this Helps!
