Parallax on mobile device

Hello,

I would like to use the animation (growing picture from center to the outer sides) used on your demo-page "freelancer" showing the picture of the guy sitting in front of a MacBook in Greyscale.
When I use the code provided in your demo page the animation works fine on a desktop browser. But when I open the site on my mobile (recent iPhone SE) there is no animation.
Acrtually the site should be nice no mater if opened on a desktop or a mobile device.

Alternatively, would it also be possible to work let's say as a parallax image on a mobile device and with the described animation in a desktop browser?

The site is still under construction and can only be accessed on a stage server right now.

Thank you very much for your help in advance.

Hello,

Thanks for the suggestions and apologies for the inconveniences caused!

Unfortunately, the parallax functionality is currently not supported on Mobile Devices due to performance reasons and our Live Previews also do not display the above-mentioned Parallax Animation on Mobile Devices. We are working on making this available on Mobile Devices from Canvas 7, so when we release this update we will definitely notify you about this, however, currently, this feature is not available.

Hope this Helps!

Thanks for your reply.

So also the first mentioned animation of the picture growing when scrolling down is not supported on mobiles yet, is that right?

Hello,

Yes, unfortunately, this is also not supported since this animation is achieved using the Skrollr Parallax Plugin which does not handle Mobile Parallax smoothly, so we are already working on updating this and we will release an update in the near future.

Hope this Helps!

Let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues.
