Overriding Dark Theme in header

I have a dark header that includes a menu and a logo. I'm wanting to change the background of the menu strip to be white with all the menu text being black. This should result in a white strip going across the entire header anchored to the bottom. I almost have this working but I can't seem to get the background color of the nav element to be white. Please let me know if this isn't clear.

Thanks Again.

Edit: I can get the background to be white, but I can't get the text to be black. I tried using 'force-not-dark' on the nav element. I need to force the menu text to be black.

Hello,

Is it possible, in dark theme, to specify a particular section to keep white/light css, something like .not-dark class.
In fact it would result in the same way you can specify a .dark section when the theme is white but the reverse.

Any hint would be apreciated!

Hello,

Unfortunately, this is not supported and instead it would be ideal to use the Light Scheme and then use the .dark Class to set your Specific Sections Dark as it would work in a much better way. Adding the .not-dark Functionality will result in too much bloated and complicated CSS.

Hope this Helps!
