Hi, we are trying to use the op-video-grid on our homepage, however, when we upload the code it doesn't display properly on our website:
http://iniciativaguatemala.org/index_new.php

We also tried using our localhost, to see if maybe the CSS needed to be updated on the website, but that too didn't work.

Can you please advise what modifications we need to make in our website so that op-video-grid works properly? We've had to make several tweaks to the CSS and other areas, so overwriting them is not possible.

Thanks!
Jess

Hello,

The CSS related to the Half Screen height is present in the one-page/onepage.css File. So you will need to simply add the following CSS Code in your css/custom.css File:

.half-screen {
	position: relative;
	height: 50%;
}

This will definitely work fine. Let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues.

Hi, we tried adding the code to css/custom.css, however, it did not resolve the issue. Everything still looks the same on our local host.

We setup our website using Canvas Version 1 (January 2015), and setup a child sponsorship page that required a lot of modification to our css using Canvas 1, which is why we can't easily overwrite all of the css files with the code from Canvas 4.

Please let us know the easiest way for us to utilize the op-video-grid (http://canvashtml-cdn.semicolonweb.com/one-page/op-video-grid.php), making the appropriate changes to our system without erasing the customizations we've already made.

Thanks!
Jess

I just checked our style.css and we used Version 1.3.1

Hello,

It would be very difficult to provide solution for such an Older Version of Canvas since there has been so many updates after v1.3.1 of Canvas. Additionally, the feature you are trying to use was introduced in v2, so you will not be able to use a New Feature in an Old Template.

Also, the CSS code we had provided in the previous responses has not been updated Online, so we could not check the issue. Please update the Code online so that we can assist further. However, it is really recommended that you Update your Website to the Latest Version else you will not be able to use Latest Features and Design Improvements when we release New Updates. Thanks for your Patience.

Meanwhile, do let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues with Canvas.
