i use the on-click function in the primary-menu class="primary-menu on-click". If you have clicked on the menu-item and the megamenu opens, it is possible to add an active class to the menu-item <li class="menu-item mega-menu sub-menu">

This is Absolutely Possible! Minor Customization is required for this, so we have updated this for you. Simply update the existing js/functions.js File with the updated one attached here.
