On click Menu

Hello,

I'm setting up my website, and I would like to make the menu not visible until clicked on.
Of course there is the onclick open version but the major issue is that it's on the right or on the left. Not in the middle, like the regular transparent menu.

Can I have some advice please ?

I even thought using the search procedure to do that. When you click on the search button, instead of a search bar, you would get the menu. It didn't work since i'm not that good in html but that's the kind of look i want it to have
