modal on load using cookie. modal keep showing up again

i am using version 6.6.5
using modal-onload-cookie.html

modal on load using cooking is true modal box keep popping even I have data-cookies="true"

even i have accepted cooket . If I close browser and reopen the browser then the open site accepts cookie modal keep showing up again.

We have checked this out and it appears to be working fine for us. Can you please confirm if you are checking this on the Local File System or a Live Server/Localhost so that we can further check this? If you have a Live URL, please provide us with the same so that we can check this further. Additionally, we have checked this out on Canvas 7: https://canvastemplate.com/modal-onload-cookie.html and it uses the same codes as v6.6.5 .

thank you I know you guys are still working on solutions on this issue
but i just downloaded new created package it shows an error on module.cookie.js see the screenshot
may be this will help debug the issue. thank you

We confirm this bug on Canvas 7 and we have already fixed this. We will be releasing an Update shortly to address this. We are still working on why this does not work on Canvas 6.6.5. Thanks for your Patience.
