Mobile menu, opening up elements when clicking instead of on mouseover

Hello, firstly thanks for your excellent work and continuous improvements.

I think this was not possible in the past, but maybe it was released recently.

For a mobile user it is not that convenient to have a menu that opens plenty of elements when doing mouseover, is possible to have the usual behavior of any mobile app? The menu will open the submenu elements when clicking instead of when doing mouseover.

Thanks and have a nice day

I found this past discussion we had http://support.semicolonweb.com/forums/topic/header-on-click-instead-of-on-mouse-over/

I followed your guidelines removing if( SEMICOLON.isMobile.Windows() from functions.js and it work fine, but then I have two following questions:

  • Why not having the code that way by default? clicking instead of mouseover? for the mobile user is better user experience

  • Why the opening of the menu is only working when click exactly on the arrow and not on the text? you can test the problem here https://www.eventplannerspain.com ideally the submenu should open when clicking in the bottom arrow but also when clicking over the text or any area covering that part of the menu.

Thanks
Juan

Besides, ideally I would like for the desktop user the menu opens when mouseover, but for the mobile user on click. Is that possible?

Thanks
Juan
