Menu button issue

Hello Guys

So, we have a weird issue with a hamburger menu that we just cant resolve.

ISSUE 1
When we tested this in developer view on Google, the hamburger menu is clickable and works / expands the menu.
However, on an actual iPhone 12 mobile device, this does not work. All our other pages work perfectly fine, but just not the index page. It works "ok" on iPhone 8 Plus along with some other phones, but not on iPhone 12. To further fine tune the issue, we discovered that it seems to be a setting issue with iPhone 12. Under DISPLAY & BRIGHTNESS, if you set your phone to DISPLAY ZOOM (activated), then the hamburger menu doesn't work. If it is set on STANDARD, then it works (screenshot attached).

ISSUE 2
Furthermore, if you scroll down on the page, the READ MORE buttons on the HOME PAGE below the news articles, we have the same problem as per above. Doesn't work on the iPhone 12.

ISSUE 3
On mobile view, whenever there's a drop-down menu available under a main menu, the visitors are forced to click on the arrow to expand. I would like to change this to expand the submenu / drop down menu when you click on the main menu item itself (i.e. like the menu items without drop-downs). Screenshot attached. It's more natural to be able to click on the menu item than only on the arrow. How can I affect this?

Hope to hear from you soon.
Kind regards
Rosika

Hello,

Firstly, thank you so much for the very very kind patience! Your ticket was transferred to our core designers in order to properly check and debug the issues as you have mentioned. We really apologize for the delays and inconveniences caused!

  1. We have checked this out and do not face the same issues you have suggested on our Live Previews (please check the video attached and also consider checking http://themes.semicolonweb.com/html/canvas/intro.html on your Device). However, we do face the issues you have mentioned on your Website. We are not sure what is causing this but it does appear that your website might not be up to date (we couldn't check the exact version). Please make sure that you are using the Latest Version of Canvas and there are no JS Issues on your Page (you can check this in your Browser's Developer Console).

  2. This might be related to above.

  3. Currently, the Mobile Menu functionality works like this:

  • If the User clicks on the Menu Arrow, it will open the Sub-Menu.

  • If the User clicks on the Parent Menu Item and there is a Link assigned to the Parent Menu Item, it will proceed to the Link and not open the Sub-Menu.

  • If the User clicks on the Parent Menu Item and there is no Link assigned to the Parent Menu Item, it will open the Sub-Menu.

Hope this Helps!

Let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues.
