Hi, I have an issue with primary navigation - the icon arrows for menus not appearing on this site on development.

ISSUES --

  1. How can I make the arrows appear where a drop down menu exists
  2. On the drop down, (screen shot showing issue) the icon arrow is not positioned at the end of the text, it is lying below the text.

Can you please assist in reviewing what this issue is.

Many Thanks

Hi guys, can you give me an update on this?

I have resolved the down arrows with <nav class="primary-menu with-arrows"> but I still need help with the right arrow on sub menu items. Are you able to assist?

Hello,

Apologies for the delays in replying.

We have checked this out and the issue is with the Custom CSS Codes on your Website conflicting with the Default Codes which already displays the Sub-Menu Arrow indicators correctly. Consider checking this Template: https://canvastemplate.com/menu-with-arrows.html .

Please consider checking your Custom CSS Codes which might be causing this. Hope this Helps!

Thanks for your response. I am just going to be honest here as my ticket is private. I had given up on waiting for a reply from SemiColonWeb - it's been over a month since I asked for help. :( I had to take the site live.

So in your response, I know that it is something I have done with my custom CSS, however respectfully, the answer is not helping to resolve the issue. In the past the support would always point out where in the CSS the issue lay - what file and line number as an example. Is this no longer part of your service?

Seems like a lot of support issues that have been blanket answered in the last 16 hours. From one business owner to another, honestly, it's not a good look.

I so hope all is well with your business as Canvas has been a fabulous product. It would be a shame to see it and your service for support be degraded.

Hello,

Apologies for the Inconveniences caused and for the delays. We had some internal issues causing unnecessary delays which we know should not come in the way for Support or cause you inconveniences. We are diligently working on improving this and we assure you that we will be more careful about this in the future.

Additionally, we assure you that we go through codes and do research before replying to any query. Our goal is to fix issues as fast as we can with minimal support round times. But something we do not cover is Customizations according to our Support Policy. We have tried checking the Codes that were causing the issue with the Default Codes but there are too many customizations in your CSS which unfortunately is not covered by our support. Customizations are the responsibility of the User and we are more than Happy to point out issues due to basic customizations, which we have always done before and will continue doing so.

Thanks for Understanding.
