Mailchimp subscription form stopped working

I was recently made aware that our Mailchimp subscription form is no longer working. It had been working fine and connecting properly. The API and list ID are set properly in the subscribe.php file.

Now it's displaying an error on submit that enters from the right side, and says "please set a message!". I don't know where to configure this error message, or why it's being seen in the first place.

Hello,

According to your Issue, we suspect that you are using an Older Version of the include/subscribe.php File. Please make sure that your Output Message looks like this in the include/subscribe.php File:

echo '{ "alert": "success", "message": "You have been **successfully** subscribed to our Email List." }';

This will automatically fix your issue. Hope this Helps!
