I have set up the Mailchimp subscription Widget and it appears to be working but instead of a "success" confirmation, I get a "Please set message". I have set up the subscribe.php per the documentation but it seems like something simple I am missing. Any help would be much appreciated. Site URL below:
For clarification, the form does work. When you put in an email address and click the button, the email is added to the mail chimp list. The only issue I am having is with the confirmation text. Instead of success (or error) messages, the notification says "Please set message". I have checked and the messages are set in the subscribe.php file but it seems like those messages are not being recalled.

Thanks so much! This worked perfectly. Note: Putting your recommended code after the <input> or <button> code did not work. It needs to be nested in <form> but before <input>, in case anyone else is experiencing this issue.
