Integration with Website Server

I am a novice at this. I can generally create a website by reading other code. So I was able to use your template and figure out what I wanted and then did substitution to get all the pages to work together. I am now at the point where I have to integrate the "Contact us" and the Cart to the server.
I know nothing about this and do not expect you to solve my problem....just a little help please.
I have access via Cpanel to the server and can get around a server fairly well but.....
I sort of thought there would be a Javascript somewhere that would do some things like clearing an item from the cart or updating the cart and finally getting me to the point where the cart integrates to Paypal and all I had to do was fetch the Paypal routine?
I read in one of your responses in a ticket that I am to clear the previous items in the cart so did so on each page.
But prior to clearing it manually I was trying to use the little Trash can only to find out it is waiting for me to input a URL or JS or something in the coding and that's where I became lost.
So...email has to be done and cart and then a ton of modification to pictures etc.
I am enjoying Canvas, I was stumped but seem to have everything set up fairly well.
Last question, copyright, am I to substitute my site name as I have for Canvas because I bought it, or am I violating your copyright?
No one knows this site exists yet, I just bought the Domain 2 days ago.

I got the Email/Contact form working (never noticed the "include" form.php I modded it and mail and Contact form working perfect.
No such luck with the cart yet, not seeing any "includes" for it thus far.

Hello,

Thank You so much for the Kind Words! :)

You can definitely remove the Copyrights Informations and replace it with your own. You can edit everything you like according to your needs. There are no restrictions whatsoever.

The Carts are provided only for Templating/Design Purposes. Since Canvas is an HTML5 Template, backend/database functionalities along with the JS Customizations like adding/removing Cart Items are not included out of the box. You will need to Integrate this further and connect this to a Backend/Database or PayPal as required but support for this is not included with Canvas as we currently do not provide Customization related Support according to the Item Support Policy: https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy . You will need to manually code this or Hire a Freelancer to help you out.

And since unfortunately this feature is currently not available within the Default Templates. We will surely consider adding this in Our Future Updates and will send you a Notification once this is available.

Hope this Helps!

Let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues.

Thanks, are there any tutorials or canned software that I can use to solve the cart issue or must it all be coded?

Hello,

Thanks for your Patience!

Usually for the Cart, we use WooCommerce but then everything needs to be integrated in order for it to work well. So you will need to have knowledge of WooCommerce/WordPress in order to integrate this with a workable software.

We have tried working on JS Codes for this, but currently this will take a long time in order to integrate and for it to work properly. So we will keep working on this and try adding this in an Update. We will definitely notify you once this is available.

Hope this Helps!
