infinity scroll not working

Good day,
i'm trying to work with infinty scroll. But no matter what i do it does not seem to work as it does on your main page
meaning this (http://themes.semicolonweb.com/html/canvas/portfolio-infinity-scroll.html)
when i downloaded your package (themeforest etc.) even there the infinty scroll file(portfolio-infinity-scroll) does not work properly. When i click on "load more" it just kepps loading and does nothing. Was trying to solve it with your index help in canvas doc 5.9.1. - portfolio- infinity scroll. But same problem there in just loads another page...
Maybe i'am overlooking something stupid..

Don't have a live url- dooing complete overhaul of website.

Hello,

We do not support Local Files as the environments might be different and the issues might be with other files/assets that could cause the error. So, we request you to provide us with a Live URL only. Additionally, if you are using the Local File System to check your Files, this feature might not work as some Features like iFrames, AJAX and other functionalities related to CORs are blocked by the Browsers by default when using the Local File System. This issue should be automatically resolved if you view the Files using a Localhost based Server (XAMPP/MAMP) or Online Servers.
