Increase Search area in header

Hello!

I was wondering if it would be possible to increase the box to the right of the header, where the search bar is. The reaseon I'd like to do this is to place a select picker next to the tetbox, but it always gets moved down.

Also, would it be possible place a search box to the left of the Header menu buttons ?
