images flicker when scrolling to top of page (firefox)

Question

When scrolling pages back to the top, images flicker when reaching the top of the page. This can be seen here:

www.lstheavyliquid.com.au

This occurs only when the scroll reaches the top of the page, and the size of the top menu/icon bar changes. This does not occur when using Chrome, it is only in Firefox (not tested) in other browsers. How can this be avoided?

Is it possible to stop the resizing of the icon/menu bar at the top of the page? If so, how is this achieved?
