edit: they work when i load a second page, then work every time after that. Why would it take two page loads?

Hello,
We have just checked out your Website and the issue is not with the Template. The issue is that you when you Open your Website as: http://www.ranchworx.com/ the Icons will not work since the CSS/JS Files are linked as: http://ranchworx.com/ (without the www). But when you open your Website as: http://ranchworx.com/ it will work on the First Attempt.
The reason for the Issue with the First Case is the URL mismatch with creates a CORs Issue with the Browsers which is why it is more recommended to load your CSS/JS locally without adding the Link for your Website http://ranchworx.com/ before your CSS/JS File Linkings.
This will definitely fix the Issue. Hope this Helps.
