Hello, what is the best way to update my current website when improvements and new releases come out?

Hello,

Once we release updates, we add lists of all the Changed Files in the Changelog and Github Repo, you will need to simply Update the specific Files according to the File/Code Changes mentioned in the Changelog: http://docs.semicolonweb.com/docs/changelog for the Latest Version.

Thank you. Lastly, I'm not efficient in scss. If I change the css sheets manually will they be overridden by scss?

Hello,

Not at all! CSS and SCSS are different entities. If you don't want to use SCSS, its completely your choice and it will not affect the development process in any way.
