How to stop mobile headers pushing down rs-slider

Hello!

I am busy revamping my website on an older version of Canvas HTML.
I have a transparent header (menu) with an RS slider below it. On desktop view, the slider background image is positioned at the top and thus 'behind' the header.
However, when you view it in mobile view, the header “pushes” down the RS slider and the mobile header / menu has a solid background colour instead of staying transparent. This causes whatever you have positioned within the RS slider to move down also, so anything you positioned to be vertically center, is actually not center at all when viewed on mobile view.

  1. On mobile view, how can I make the mobile headers transparent?
  2. And most importantly, how I retain the position of the RS slider and simply have the header / menu over the RS slider as one does in desktop view without pushing the RS slider down?

You can view my home page here: www.rosika.nl

Hope to hear from you soonest.
Thanks

Hello,

Thanks for your Patience and Apologies for the Delays in replying to your Support Query!

  1. Currently, with the Version of Canvas you are using this is not supported but we can definitely help you out with this with Custom Codes.

  2. This is currently not supported with the Mobile Menus that opens downwards. We recommends using the Mobile Menu Off Canvas feature which will not move the Revolution Slider from its place and open the Menus from the Side. Consider using this code:

<nav class="primary-menu mobile-menu-off-canvas">

Meanwhile, do let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues with Canvas.

Hi

Thanks for reverting.

  1. What is your cost to customise code with option 1 above?
  2. I have applied the side menu as per your suggestion, but this does not fix the position of the RS slider to the top of the page. See atttached screenhot taken from my mobile (issue-2.jpg). On the left is what it looks like now: the square box on the slider is moved down (not center as it should be because the menu is pushing it down) and the grey twirly BG image is positioned just below the menu.
On the right is what I want to achieve - I want the slider to stick to the top of the page and be "behind" the menu - just like it is when you view the slider on desktop view (see desktop.jpg attached). Perhaps the attachment would illustrate more accurately what I need. Do you have any other ideas of how I can achieve this?

Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Rosika
