I have downloaded the file and also some other assets. How to start using it? Almost all files contain code. Is there anything like drag and drop?

Hello,
Canvas is a Static HTML5/CSS3 Template and you will need to manually Edit the Codes using a Code Editor like Sublime Text, Notepad++ or anything equivalent to add/edit your Content. There is no Drag Drop Editor to Edit your Content.
To start using Canvas, you will simply need to Upload the Files to your Web Server using FTP and then Edit the Files which you require for your Website like the Home, About, Portfolio, Services, Blog and Contact Pages. You can choose from the Template Designs included within the Package to start creating your Website according to your Design Preferences.
