how to set navigation menu in include

Hi I am new to HTML templates (I have been using Wordpress templates for the last 6 years) -

  1. how do I se the navigation in 1 file that will be used on all the pages of the site?
  2. Im very confused about the process used to build a site with html templates (your documentation is unhelpful for a first time html template builder, especially considering I have been building websites with either wordpress templates or from scratch HTMl -- not templates-- for 15 years, I would have thought my learning curve would have been quicker) - if I want to use a different header, do I just make changes in the class or do I use a different header-xxx.html file - and if I use a different file - how do I do that?

Thank You so much for Purchasing Canvas and Apologies about the Delays in replying! :)

  1. Since this is an HTML Template, you will need to add your preferred Navigation manually to all the Files that you will be including for your website. Additionally, you can also consider using PHP Includes in all your Pages (make sure that you change your File Extension from .html to .php) to use the Same Header on all the Pages, so once you make a Change in 1 File, the changes will reflect in all the Files.   2. We Really Apologize about the Inconveniences caused! HTML Templates are used by more advanced developers who like to Integrate the Design with their own Applications and thus HTML is targeted more at them. However, Canvas is definitely user-friendly for Newbie Users but you will require some knowledge of HTML/CSS to Edit the Templates. To use a Different Header, you can simply change the Classes specified in the Documentation or you can use the Specific Header Template and Copy the Header Code and paste it on your Custom Template.
