After installing the standalone Revolution Slider, I get this image (see attachment).

You will need to do a Manual Installation of the Visual Editor Plugin and then use the Add-On/visual-editor-extension.zip File to Install the Visual Editor. You can check out the Documentation here: https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-se-doc/slider-revolution-standalone-editor-documentation/ .
