Hi,

Instagram access is currently blocked or very slow in Turkey.

Because of that instagram feed does not work properly. First, it has been stuk in the loading image of the page. I solved it by defining timeout value for the loading image.

However, it still affects the view of the page. Can you please check following link that the portfolio just above of Instagram feed is displayed ambiguously because intagram feed cannot be loaded.

If I remove, instagram feed, then it is displayed properly. As an example, see the link below.

The problem occurred just after the Instagram became inaccessible.

In case of a similar situation (e.g. instagram is not accessible for any reason.) is it possible to define a timeout value for the instagram widget?

Thanks.

I removed the links as instagram is accessible currently. Moreover, it cannot be tested by as you are not in Turkey and instagram widget is called from your connection, not the serverside.

You can just take into account my timeout question.

If there is another workaround, i can also apply it.

Thanks.

Hello,

Thanks for your Patience!

Unfortunately, a Timeout is currently not supported for the Instagram Plugin out of the box and will need some deep customization in order to be able to implement this. Additionally, Instagram is currently blocking Access Token and will disable the Legacy API on 31st March 2020 which will disable all the Instagram Functionality. We are currently unsure about the Future of the Instagram Widget in Canvas due to these conditions. It is recommended to apply for your own Facebook App to access Instagram using the Graph API.
